Happy new year, friends! 2016 promises to be a big year for Jag, and we’re really excited about some of the celebrations we have in store for the next twelve months.
Why, you ask? Because 2016 marks 30 years in business. Jeff founded Jag in 1986, and at the time, never imagined what the future would hold: a move to Oregon, his daughter joining him in the business, and celebrating 30 years.
30 years.
It’s quite the accomplishment for any business, but especially for such a small operation like ours. For most of the company’s 30 years, Jeff has been the lone wolf behind the scenes, making things happen. Oh sure, he’s had partners and employees on-and-off over the years, and four years ago his daughter, Sara, joined him. But Jeff is the one who founded Jag, made sure we were on the forefront of technology and changing trends, and kept the company chugging ever forward successfully.
That’s why we’re excited to celebrate this major milestone with you all year-long.
We’re also excited that besides marking 30 years in business, 2016 also marks 15 years since we moved to Oregon — both the Gundell family, and Jag itself.
So look for new blog posts and e-newsletters throughout the year (we promise not to bombard you too much), and keep your ear out for some of our celebratory events and promotions. Cheers to 30 years!
